This style
of gas station has been seen across the country. Built in the 1930's, many still stand today. The footprint is 10-1/2 inches
across to the edge of the sidewalk, 11-1/4 from the back to the front of the
island curbing. Though this structure is scaled to actual 1/48, it has
been designed to accept both 1/43 and 1/48 scale automobiles.

Full color signs and
posters are included to make alternative brand names, such as Richfield, Shell, Sinclair,
Texaco, Mohawk, Phillips 66, Mobile and Gulf.
All details shown in the photos are included except the automobiles and
figures (people). All parts are cast in high quality polyurethane resin
(light tan color) with separate injection molded plastic windows and doors. Roof details
include rolled tarpaper roofing, 5 vent turbines, heat vent and bathroom drain vents.
The soda machine is a scale replica of a 1954 Vendo machine. It can be
backdated to approximately 1948 by removing half of the release lever. The
soda machine and gas pumps are scaled from full sized
prototypes.
